Self Care Monday-positivity

 I recently had an epiphany over positive thinking. Yes, of course I try to be positive. Yes, my normal default is to always think the worst (apparently it's a family trait!) Yes, I'm working on that.

But then on one of the videos I was listening to she talked about positive thinking and believing it. I think it was PS I'm Ella, but don't hold me to that.

Anyway, the gist of what she said was yes high vibe and positive thinking are great but if you don't believe it then what's the point?

She talked about steps. One step at a time. If you always look at the glass half empty it's easy to say oh, that glass is half full! But do you believe it? Saying and feeling are so very different things.

So steps. One step at a time--the world suddenly isn't all sunshine and roses and happiness. It's probably better than you think it is.

Yes, positive thinking is healthier than negative thinking but be realistic to where you are.
