I love naps. Always have. They're what gets me through a long day. Don't let anyone tell you naps are for children! Because even NASA agrees they're super important!
"The team at NASA determined that an optimal power-nap time should be anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes."
And napping is a great way to relax your mind and body and get you through the day. You can tune out the world and ease your mind from the rest of your busy day.
Here's another quote from Business Insider on that same study by NASA.
"NASA's research showed that naps really can fully restore cognitive function at the same rate as a full night's sleep.
The space agency found that pilots who slept in the cockpit for 26 minutes showed alertness improvements of up to 54% and job-performance improvements by 34%, compared to pilots who didn't nap."
Just don't forget to set a timer!
